How to Become a Christian

Becoming a Christian can be as easy as knowing your ABC's!

FIRST, WE ALL MUST KNOW THAT GOD, WHO MADE US,

LOVES US MORE THAN WE CAN IMAGINE!

He has a plan for us to be in a personal relationship with Him!

A ADMIT
Each of us has a problem the Bible calls sin.  Sin is a refusal to
acknowledge God's authority.  The result of sin is eternal separation
from God.  God's Word says that we should ADMIT to God we are
a sinner.  Repent, turning away from your sin and toward God.

Romans 3:23,  Romans 6:23,  I John 1:9-10
B BELIEVE
Believe that Jesus Christ is God's Son & receive Jesus' gift of
forgiveness from sin.  Although we have done nothing to deserve God's love,
He wants to save us.  In the death of Jesus on the cross, God provided
salvation for all who would repent of their sins and believe in Jesus as the living Lord.

Romans 5:8,  John 3:16,  Ephesians 2:8-9
C CONFESS
Confess you faith in Jesus Christ as your personal Savior & Lord to others.
After you have received Jesus into your life, share your decision with a
pastor or Christian friend.  Following Christ's example, ask for baptism
in your local church as a public expression of your faith.

 Romans 10:9-10, Romans 10:13, Luke 9:23

A Simple Prayer
"Dear God, I know I am a sinner. I believe Jesus, God's Son, died to pay for my sins;
that I might be forgiven and made acceptable to you. Please forgive me of my sins.
I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead and made him Lord.  I now accept
your offer of eternal life by receiving Jesus as my Savior and Lord.
Thank You for forgiving me of my sin.  Thank You for my new life.
From this day forward, I choose to follow You."

If this expresses the prayer of your heart, we would like to know so we can thank God
for your new life in Christ.   Also, find a church family close by to join , and begin right
away growing in your faith, serving God and enjoying fellowship with other believers.
